This show is about the busy lives of some high school teens in Tree Hill, a small town in North Carolina, which is the home of the Tree Hill Ravens, coached by old Whitey Durham. Its greatest player ever was Dan Scott, who now runs a car dealership. The recent talented b-ball players are his two sons, Nathan Scott, a young popular athlete, the star, and his ambitious dad, who pushes him harder then even the coach does, left with his spoiled, alcoholic mother Deb, and Lucas left at birth with his loving mother, and hard working cafe owner Karen, poor brother Keith as a pretend father for Lucas, the boys only playing hoops on a public b- ball court in the park with street boys, Lucas's interest is reading and Basketball of course is relevent, when an incident forces the coach to replace the players, Lucas soon proves to tree hill, and after a while gets accepted, in the good relationship with his brother Nathan, who turns on his dad, Dan. Of course they have a confusing phase of usually short loved love affairs with artistic and musical talent with Peyton and just school and tutoring for other troubled teens in the subjects with Haley, and theres Brooke, a boyfriend stealing cutie who thinks sexual relations are always the way to go. Besides a love for hoops, it would seem that Lucas and Nathan are two young men with not so much in common except for the evil secret that they share with having the same father. But Nathan is the star of the high school b-ball team and lives off of his wealthiest family in the town. Lucas is a loner, and a hot one at that and the only child of a single working mom. He's always kept his distance from Nathan. But their lives collide when a twist of fate puts Lucas and Nathan on the same team. The rumor that's bothering the boys since they were little now becomes more as the half brothers compete not only for control of the b-ball court, but also for the heart of Peyton. So out comes a major problem between the boys one that will play itself out in their homes, and another that their hearts will unfold and at school as they struggle to come with the right words with who they really are and the fact that they may have more in common than they ever thought.
